Southern California Off Road Racing
Our Mission Statement: We are dedicated with providing our members fun, family oriented events, and protecting the rights of our members to be able to enjoy the sport of motorcycling. District 37 has been involved with protecting the rights of motorcyclists for over 60 years.
Earn Points in all District 37 Events toward an overall Desert Number. Points in other series will count towards an overall desert number as long as you hold a D37 desert license. Desert races will be one of the following formats: Desert Scramble, Hare and Hound, European Scramble, or Sprint Enduro. The Grand Prix Series will not pay Desert in the 2020 season.
Sprint Enduro racing combines the tight, single-track racing of the AMA National Enduro series with a format similar to ISDE competition. The course is not exactly single-track but similar in that you’re not racing bar to bar against another rider but, instead, racing against the clock.
Grand Prix racing combines motocross tracks with off road racing. Racers usually compete on courses that are seven -10 miles long and last for approx. 45 minutes. D37 is the birth place of the NGPC series and gives you an opportunity to race for D37 Grand Prix points and National Grand Prix points.
A series designed specifically for all racers ages 4 to 16. The desert series consists of unimproved courses that the racers follow pink ribbon and arrows through a closed course in the desert. The youth series has classes for all young racers at all skill levels.
If your youth racer would like to race GP please follow the NGPC link.
Hare and Hound
New for the 2020 season, the Hare and Hound Series will consist of four races in the first half of the year. The race courses will consist of two separate and distinct loops that will be no less than 35 miles and no more than 50 with a total mileage of no less than 70 miles and no more than 100 miles. This is the Hare and Hound series designed to be fun for all skill levels.
