Hare and Hound Desert Racing
The Hare and Hound Series will consist of five races in the first half of the year. The race courses will consist of two separate and distinct loops that will be no less than 30 miles and no more than 50 with a total mileage of no less than 60 miles and no more than 100 miles. The first loop of the series will be constructed for all racers of all skill levels. No portion of the first loop should require a well skilled Novice racer to get off his or her bike to overcome terrain or obstacle. The loop should resemble a well constructed desert scramble loop that covers typical desert terrain. The second loop will increase in difficulty and require greater skill of the racer, but will not contain any extreme terrain. No portion of the second loop will require a well skilled Intermediate racer to get off their bike and overcome terrain or obstacle. The course will be challenging to racers of all skill levels, but will allow all racers to finish.
One license. Three Series. Purchase your Desert License and you are automatically registered for the District 37 Desert Series, The Desert Scrambles Series, and The Hare and Hound Series.
